Knitting things....

Finished booties to match the baby hat I did in my last post (I knit these mostly in airports on my AZ trip the other weekend!)

Secret project going well. (no new pics of course! hehe)

Started a cute little baby vest to go with the hat and booties to make a complete set!!!! Ooh la la ;-)

Languishing: baby "cocoon"... I finally got a chance to hold it up to an actual baby and have decided to make it a bit longer :-)

Seed stitch scarf: worked on it some, its getting close to being done. (its my 'tv' project!)

Dish towel: got past the decorative edge and am on the big ol plain middle part. I have to decide whether I want to do the bobbled edge design again on the other end of the towel like the pattern says, or to just do the other end plain? Hmmm.

The other day I got the opportunity to teach another friend how to knit! We met up at Borders and her initial statement was that she's been worried about it all day! Poor thing :-) I told her she would do fine. We got to work and by the end of the night she said "It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be"! Hooray! I hope she can get into it and really enjoy knitting. I got ger started on the classic grandma's favorite dishcloth, but we are going to have her start soon on a baby hat project (the reason she wanted to learn to knit, for a friend who is having a baby!). What baby hat you ask? The pumpkin hat from "itty-bitty hats"! Should be super cute!

Hope everyone's having a good week, I get to go to a wedding this weekend so that should be fun!!!!!

Knit a ballband dishcloth for my grandma while I was there! (Peaches n Cream Cotton)

I got a digital camera for Christmas!!!!! Now all my knitting pictures will be crisp and beautiful (if i can hold it still)(obviously this pic was taken with my webcam):

Just finished a scarf for the red scarf project yesterday! (Lion brand "Color Waves" in sunset red... just cast on what i thought was enough sts and did garter stitch till i ran out of yarn - one skein:)

OK enough pics for now, Hope everyone had a good Christmas and new year's! Now it's time to get all those new years resolutions going... eeek...
